iSpecimen is changing the landscape of biospecimen procurement.

RainCastle created a new website and associated communications for iSpecimen, creators of an online marketplace connecting researchers with the biospecimens they need from a variety of resources such as hospitals, biorepositories and philanthropic donors.

With the marketplace ready for prime time, iSpecimen partnered with RainCastle to update their content and visual brand to reflect this exciting stage of the company’s development.

The website is both a brand awareness and lead generation vehicle that will enable researchers to conduct searches while contributors will join the marketplace by registering. Because of the specificity of audiences for iSpecimens marketplace, we made the navigation audience-specific so visitors can easily self-select the content most relevant to them.

With the marketplace being a new concept for iSpecimen’s audience, we created a two-minute animated video, which explains the features and benefits for both the researcher and contributor audiences.

The site’s copy, while instructive about the marketplace and how it works, focuses largely on business benefits such as efficiency, quantity of specimens in one place, revenue opportunities for specimen contributors and time and money savings for researchers.

Once the website messaging and design were established, we built out the visual design system with a cohesive set of materials that includes collateral, PowerPoint and booth graphics.
