Creating a website and visual brand identity to serve a highly technical audience presents interesting challenges. Daicel Chiral Technology develops and manufactures specialized chromatography products for pharmaceutical R&D teams and academic researchers worldwide.

They turned to RainCastle to create a website and visual identity that addressed both sides of the brain: concise, actionable information presented in a fresh design that conveyed the company’s innovation and market leadership.

We started by developing a brand messaging framework, including top-level and audience-specific messages. Building on this foundation, we developed a website design and content that highlighted the company’s distinct strengths, combining line art and a bold color palette with photography.

A key functional aspect of the project was a revamped information architecture to streamline navigation and consolidate global information—eliminating the separate sites the client previously had for each of its served regions.
