RainCastle and ALS TDI launch breakthrough virtual lab tour
Newton, MA – June 16, 2009

ALS TDI, the premiere research organization seeking the cure for ALS, selected RainCastle to create a Flash-based video "virtual tour" of their scientific research laboratory. The purpose of the virtual tour is to emphasize that among ALS research organizations, ALS TDI has the scientific resources and expertise that best position them to take advantage of donations and make the breakthrough discoveries resulting in a cure for the disease.

ALS TDI is partnering with Major League Baseball (MLB) to promote awareness of ALS research and to solicit donations to fund discovery. During the 7th inning stretch of every MLB game on July 4, 2009, an announcement will be made at each park inviting fans to go to the MLB website, click the MLB 4ALS button, view the virtual tour and submit a donation to ALS TDI.

The Flash-based virtual tour includes 6 video modules, each of which consist of engaging interviews with the scientists as they conduct their research in the laboratory and utilize computer modeling.
