RainCastle Pulls in the Awards
web sites and Annual Report Win High Honors

RainCastle Communications has been the proud recipient of a number of highly acclaimed design awards this summer.

RainCastle was selected as a winner in the 1999 American Graphic Design Awards competition for the design and production of the following projects: The Mississippi: River of Song web site (www.pbs.org/riverofsong) the CUH2A web site, the i-Cube Annual Report and the Passkey.com web site.

In its 23rd year, the competition, sponsored by Graphic Design: USA, has emerged as one of the most prestigious and democratic of all graphic communication contests. This year's entries climbed by more that 20% to about 10,000 of which less than 7% were named winners.

"We are very proud of the work we've done in the past year," said Paul Regensburg, President and Creative Director at RainCastle. "It is unbelievably gratifying to have our work recognized by industry leaders in both the national and international arenas. We have a great team."

In addition, the RainCastle team pulled in awards from two other competitions for the Massport web site (www.massport.com).

The web site was chosen as a demonstrating finalist for The New York Festivals 1999 Interactive Multimedia Competition. For 41 years, The New York Festivals has honored excellence in communications media that touch the hearts and minds of readers, listeners and viewers worldwide. The Festivals' eminent Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors comprise a veritable "Who's Who" of world leaders in communications.

The Massport web site has also received an Award of Excellence from the American Association of Port Authorities. In addition, the web site is featured in the September issue of CIO Magazine's By Design column.
