RainCastle and NetNumina to Design Massport web site
Newton, MA November 25, 1998
The Massachusetts Port Authority has chosen the team of RainCastle Communications, Inc. of Newton and NetNumina Solutions of Charlestown to design its web site, which will include real-time flight information.
The RainCastle/NetNumina team was chosen from the 30 vendors who submitted proposals to Massport this past summer.
"We felt that the RainCastle/NetNumina team offered us a breadth of expertise in both design and technology," said Joey Cuzzi, Massport's Director of Communications. "Each company offered distinct areas of expertise and the combination was just what we need."
RainCastle has extensive experience in web site design and development, while NetNumina's background is in leveraging existing legacy systems and developing web-based applications.
The goals of the Massport web site redesign are to provide a new look and feel, an easier to use interface and real-time flight information for flights arriving and departing from Logan airport. The redesigned web site is expected to launch sometime this winter.
