RainCastle Wins First Place at SMPS Awards Gala for Shawmut Web Site
Newton, MA – June 27, 2005

RainCastle Communications today announces it was awarded First Place at the 2005 SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services) Awards Gala, for the web site it developed and designed for Shawmut Design and Construction. The SMPS Awards recognize outstanding design and communications within the building/construction industry. This year's award ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Boston on June 16th.

Shawmut.com, rolled-out in October 2004, features an overview of Shawmut's seven focus markets, more than 100 projects, 25 press releases, job openings, pre-qualification and payment packages for subcontractors, and also included a log-in page for clients, architects, and subcontractors.

SMPS judges described the site as "strong, well conceived, and well executed," "a nice, clean, easily readable site," and "as clear as day."
